My name is Becca
I’ve loved photography since I was a teen (last week, ahem), learning on film and later moving to the digital. I set up my business in 2014 after becoming a Mum and deciding I didn’t want to continue slaving away for “the man”.
Now I slave away in my home studio for “the woman” aka me! I am the worst boss I’ve ever had, always telling myself I need to work harder, achieve more & fill every moment whilst also being a passable Mum and spouse! I prioritise being within 5ft of coffee at all times.
Life is all about people, moments & emotions that we want to hold on to..
I’m not a salesperson. I have zero sales experience apart from working in a corner shop when I was 16, but I got the sack because I couldn’t remember the price of ham. I’m upfront with my pricing and I’m not going to try and up-sell you because I don’t know how, and I always see right through it when it’s done to me and it leaves a bad taste in my mouth. And I still don’t know the price of ham.
I mostly photograph pregnant mamas, newborns and babies with their families in my studio, cake smashes, along with family portrait sessions with those of all ages and generations which I love to do in the great outdoors.
My aesthetic is timeless, a bit vintage, classic, earthy and nature inspired. I love luminous light.
I’m DBS checked, fully insured, trained in baby safety. My posing is baby led, natural, relaxed. I don’t do weird superhuman baby poses. I like reality, with a nudge!
Where are you?
I’m based in Widnes, Cheshire, but clients travel to me from surrounding areas such as Liverpool, St Helens, Warrington, Runcorn, Frodsham, Knowsley and as far as Dubai!
