Newborn & younger babies

There's so many choices to make when expecting a new bundle of joy- where to deliver, how to feed them, what kind of nappies and of course what kind of photography session you'd like to invest in!

Everyone is absolutely different when it comes to these considerations, and that's why I have a selection of options to make sure you, as an individual, get exactly what you need from your new babies portrait session with me.

My studio is tailored to creating beautiful memories of your baby, filled with specialist equipment and props to ensure you have a gallery full of images you love. Sessions are tailored to each babies age so don't worry if baby has already here!

What to expect...

I always start my sessions with parent/sibling/family portraits before moving on to focusing just on baby. My approach is baby led, ensuring they are comfortable, happy and safe throughout the session. If we need to stop for feeds, nappy changes or comforting that's all part of the fun...and challenge! Once you're booked in, I send you a full prep guide so you'll know how best to get yourself ready, what to bring and what to expect, along with a styling questionnaire so you can select a colour palette and any props relevant to your session type.

What's included?

All of my main packages include digital images, yours to print and share how you like, where you like, as well as printed copies to ensure you have the best quality, professional art for your home. There's no high pressure sales- you're sent a link to an online gallery within a week of your session to make your choices from the comfort of home. Of course, the option is there to purchase extra digitals, prints and wall art if you want to, but you can come to your session safe in the knowledge of what you have committed and that you're not going to get stung with surprise costs if you don't want them!

Mini maternity portrait- I love doing these as a celebration of this special time. I'm personally not the most body confident person myself, but I always regret not having a maternity shoot, so I shoot with you in mind and you can bare as much or as little flesh as you fancy. I'd aim to photograph you at around 32 weeks pregnant- so your bump is in full bloom, but you're not feeling too uncomfortable hopefully! The session is about 30 mins long and will take place on a weekday at 1.30pm. I can provide gowns/cover ups/draping fabric or you can wear what you feel beautiful in. The session includes your choice of one digital image- perfect to share and print how you like, where you like.

Mini Sitter Session- when baby reaches that first milestone of sitting independently (aged approx 6-9 months) come back to visit me and let them show off their skills to the world in a neat little weekday session, including your choice of one image.

Scheduling

Dates wise, I usually look to pencil you in about 10-14 days after your due date. If baby is very late/early of course we reschedule if needed so don't worry about the unpredictable nature of their arrival! The beauty of booking with me is that I regularly photograph babies of all ages so I'm able to adapt my posing to babies at any stage. My style is very relaxed, natural and baby led, so baby will be safe and comfortable at all times, so if baby has already arrived it's not too late, get in touch now.

How to book

If you decide to go ahead, I simply need to have a look at dates for you and send you a link to my booking form and details of how to pay a £40 deposit to secure a slot. The remaining balance is due the day before/on arrival at the session. Check availability here.
