There's nothing quite like a city centre wedding! A grand hotel with historic details as a backdrop, family and friends surrounding you, beautiful big rooms with glorious light flooding in whilst you get ready, and I always think the brides dress just "pops" against the city scape perfectly.
Diane & Ken's beautiful wedding took place at The Corinthian Grand, Liverpool. Starting late afternoon, there was plenty of time to get ready and everything was so relaxed and chilled as the makeup and hair fairies worked their wonders and I had lots of time to capture some special and natural moments in my reportage style, before popping outside to catch up with the groom and his best man to check on their nerve levels!
After the ceremony I seized the dry skies (how lucky for an October wedding!) and took the newlyweds for a little stroll around the hotel where I'd scouted out some unique spots for us to pause at. It's the perfect excuse for a couple to take a moment for themselves during their celebration and after I captured some special moments they were back with their guests for cocktails and congratulations before they were even missed.
It was a truly beautiful day and I'm so grateful they chose me to capture it for them. I wish them all the love in the world xxx
