The Queens of Halton Awards did not disappoint for action, joy and fun with so much to capture!
The Fortuna Female Society's mission is to combat social isolation by offering free and affordable events that inspire, empower, and champion women. Partnering with local community groups in Widnes and Runcorn to create a supportive network for women across Halton, Cheshire, they run events throughout the year to bring people together such as their popular Supper Club
and the newly established Woman Kind Cafe.
The calendar event of the year, The Queens of Halton Awards, celebrates women who go above and beyond in our local community. Set up by Fortuna Female Society in 2019, the awards recognise women who inspire, support, lift and champion others.
The nominees and those who nominate, along with community leaders, local businesses and event sponsors, were all invited along to celebrate at the the home of the Widnes Vikings DCBL Stadium, for a night of fun, joy and utter pride, with a little bit of glamour courtesy of Albi Productions, and comedy from local legend Maureen Common!
Covering local events for charity and celebrations in Widnes, Cheshire, and surrounding areas of Warrington, Halton, Liverpool, St Helens is always such a joy.
I love to be there so you know someone is dedicated to capturing all those moments and details you have worked so hard to put together.
