How it started...

I'm always so excited when mums-to-be get in touch to book their newborn portrait session with me in my Widnes studio, but even more so when they choose a maternity session too!

I love maternity sessions so much, I even include them for free when you book my chosen packages.

It's a great opportunity to get to know each other, learn more about your newborn session and or course celebrate the miracle that is your amazing body growing a brand new human!

You don't need to be an experienced model, you don't need fancy outfits, you don't need anything...except me and my guidance!

Your adventure

It's amazing to see you as a new parents. Capture your excitement. Feel the emotion and joy. And I love to hear your birth stories too. I'm a great believer in shared experiences and how we can learn from each other. I love people, and I love meeting your new little wonders and offering you a moment to just be together whilst creating portraits that capture the feeling and will live in your memories forever.

Your style

At Little Wonderland Photography I very much have my own style of shooting and my own vibe- I don't follow trends and I rarely create the same newborn baby set up more than once as I just love to be creative and mix things up a little- unique like you.

At the same time I know you probably have a favourite colour you'd like to use (can you guess this mummies chosen shade?), you either love baby bonnets or hate them. You probably love a bow, or flowers, or tiny teddy bears, or cats or dogs or lions or tigers or bears...

So you'll get a pre-session questionnaire from me so I know your vibe and can incorporate elements I know you'll adore.

Size is everything

Tiny toes. Delicate eyelashes. Button nose. The softest finest hair. It's so obvious to say, but they really do grow in a flash so that's why newborn photographs as so popular! As soon as baby arrives life becomes a whirlwind of survival! Getting a shower feel likes an achievement, let alone finishing your brew whilst it's still hot! So don't let the moment slip by and wish you'd taken time for a portrait session with a professional, experienced and slightly kooky photographer (aka me!) to invest in preserving these moments!
